Volunteers from Sabrix and Instantiations donned their tool belts and spent a day at Habitat for Humanity’s Columbia Build. This development is filled with affordable single family homes and row houses and it replaces deteriorated apartment buildings once owned by the City of Portland. EFNW volunteers spent most of the day insulating the bathroom in one home and cutting and nailing up siding on another. Habitat for Humanity let us know that just a little more than a month later, the families were given the keys to their new home and will continue in the Habitat program that supports their transition and success for years to come. Thank you volunteers!
