What We Do

The Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Northwest (EFNW) believes that a culture of community involvement makes a stronger company. We also believe that stronger companies make stronger communities. To that end, the EFNW engages high growth companies to help build a culture of community involvement and volunteerism.

The Foundation assists companies with the implementation of a community involvement program that matches their corporate culture and philanthropic interests with the many needs in the local community. Recognizing the time and resource constraints of an entrepreneurial company, the EFNW offers two strategies. The first is to provide a mechanism for companies to make a small equity contribution to the Foundation. Upon liquidity, at least 75 percent is transferred into a company-directed fund with the Oregon Community Foundation. The second is to offer an annual membership to companies that fall outside the equity model. Members are able to join EFNW at three different levels, depending on their needs and corporate culture. Services vary by membership.
